Born from a lovingly restored 1887 chapel, this project began as a historic preservation effort and evolved into a fully realized brand rooted in storytelling, atmosphere, and experience. In an industry built around scale and spectacle, we took a different approach—grounding every decision in intimacy and intention.
As founders, creative directors, and brand architects, we shaped the vision from the ground up, spanning brand strategy, narrative development, visual identity, interior experience, and a hospitality philosophy guided by a new approach. We challenged the idea that a gathering is an audience, reframing it as a shared moment shaped by connection. This philosophy became Love Big, Celebrate Small—a model that prioritized depth over size and changed not only how events were designed, but how people showed up. The industry took notice.
What emerged was more than a venue. It became one of the area’s most sought-after destinations, known for elevated aesthetic, impeccable hospitality, and deeply personal experiences—from chef-led dinners and weddings to workshops and editorial shoots. The work earned wide local recognition, including two 'Best Of' awards and a Business Women of the Year nomination. More importantly, it built lasting trust and emotional connection within the community.
Once divided by separate entrances for men and women, the restored chapel now stands as a women-owned, women-led landmark. After a successful decade, we sold the business, property, and brand—setting the stage for what came next: A Storied Way.
This project remains a testament to what happens when history, place, and story are aligned.

The brand was anchored by a symbol deeply tied to place and meaning: the Chatham Rabbit—an emblem of community, prosperity, and quiet abundance. Long associated with shared gathering and rural rhythms, the rabbit became both a visual and narrative guide.
It helped shape decisions across: Visual identity, Interior details, Print, digital, and experiential touchpoints.
The palette—deep charcoals, burnished golds, and creamy whites—balanced warmth and elegance, echoing the chapel’s historic bones while elevating the space into something timeless.
Together, the symbol and system created a brand language that honored heritage while signaling transformation.

Part destination, part feeling—marked by refined design, warm hospitality, and carefully curated experiences. Every detail and moment at The Parlour was crafted to feel intimate, artful, and deeply memorable.
A venue setting so beautiful it became part of the love story itself—
An autumn wedding at The Parlour at Manns Chapel, where golden light, historic beauty, and thoughtful design transformed a beloved venue into something truly unforgettable.
The Parlour Argosy Airstream feels like a secret worth keeping. A porch designed for lingering frames the moment as the brand's founding principle, 'Love Big. Celebrate Small' quietly reminds us that love needs no audience, no agenda —proof that the most meaningful celebrations don’t perform; they simply unfold when given the right setting.
A working heart of The Parlour, the Chef House is where preparation meets poetry and behind-the-scenes magic unfolds. The mural translates the brand’s narrative into place, creating an intentional, intimate space designed for the moments guests rarely see, yet always feel.
